About The Grass Kart Contest

The Grass Kart Challenge aims to increase participation in engineering/technical subjects and careers via a secondary schools based Grass Kart design and build challenge”.

The competition is a joint venture including Otago Polytechnic, Southern Institute of Technology and Southern Group Training. All of these organisations work to promote the Mechanical Engineering Industry as a viable and worthwhile career choice to students.
